The coalition: Houthi piracy on a Saudi medical shipment on a ship carrying the flag of the Emirates

Socotra, NewsYemen:

On Monday, the Arab coalition reported that the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, had hijacked the "Rawabi" cargo ship, which is flying the flag of the United Arab Emirates, off the Yemeni city of Hodeidah.

"The hijacked cargo ship was on a maritime mission from the island of Socotra to the port of Jizan, where it was carrying equipment for operating a Saudi hospital on the island of Socotra," the coalition added in a statement.

He pointed out that "the cargo of the ship that was subjected to Houthi piracy includes ambulances and medical equipment."

The coalition pointed out that the Houthi piracy of the ship represents a real threat to the militias' threat to freedom of navigation.
