Tribal, academic and media figures announced their return to Shabwa after two years of forced displacement by the Brotherhood authorities.

Brotherhood forces took control of Shabwa governorate in August of 2019, and launched campaigns of arrests and restrictions on tribal sheikhs and academic and media figures, forcing them to leave the governorate and flee to Aden and Hadramawt to save themselves.

After the change of the Brotherhood’s governor, Muhammad bin Udayo, and the arrival of the Giants Brigades and the return of the Elite Forces, many Shabwani figures announced their return to the governorate.

Days after the announcement of the tribal Sheikh Salem Al-Khulaifi, the tribal Sheikh of Hamar Ali announced to Sud Al-Awlaki to return to Ataq after two years of forced displacement.

Al-Awlaki confirmed that he left for Hadhramaut governorate, fearing the liquidations initiated by the Brotherhood after it took control of Shabwa.

Hundreds of citizens, tribal sheikhs, leaders of the resistance and the local authority received Sheikh Al-Awlaki after his return to Ataq.

In addition, the academic Dr. Hussein Al-Diyani announced his return to Shabwa governorate after a forced displacement by the Brotherhood's authority.

Media professionals and activists returned to the governorate, expressing their happiness at the return and the departure of the occupier, the Brotherhood, which is on the chests of the people of the governorate.  according to them.
