A meeting approves the start of recruitment procedures for 3,000 young people for the security of Hadhramaut

Today, Sheikh Hassan bin Saeed Al-Jabri, Chairman of the Committee for Implementing the Outcomes of the Hadhramaut General Meeting, chaired an extraordinary meeting with the members of the committee in the Al-Rodoud area in Tarim district.

The meeting discussed the mechanism for implementing the steps approved by the committee, including the recruitment of 3,000 young people from Wadi Hadhramaut to training camps in coordination with local authorities to serve the governorate, initially affiliated with Public Security.

 The meeting confirmed that those who will be trained will serve Hadhramaut security and will work to secure and control the security system in the valley and support the Hadrami elite in controlling Hadhramaut on the coast, valley, plateau and desert.

 The meeting approved the appointment of delegates, the formation of screening committees, and setting criteria for registration and acceptance, which will be officially announced, noting that the outcomes of the Hadhramaut meeting are clear regarding the recruitment of 25,000 soldiers from the governorate.

He also discussed the formation of a monitoring and inspection committee to follow up the local authority in previous agreements that were revoked by the Hadhramaut Valley authorities and to take escalatory measures regarding them to stop and resolve such breaches while ensuring that they are not repeated.
