Sana'a, NewsYemen, private:

Citizens in Sanaa and Houthi-controlled areas complained of the militias deliberately opening loudspeakers in mosques, main streets and markets, playing zawamil (chants) and broadcasting the lecture of their terrorist leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.

Residents in separate neighborhoods in Sana'a told NewsYemen that the militias of Iran's arm in Yemen have installed many loudspeakers in the main tours, main markets, and a number of public streets, and they play their popular zawamil loudly, causing inconvenience and resentment among citizens.

They added that the militia members deliberately broadcast the lectures of the group's leader, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, every evening during the month of Ramadan to compel citizens to listen to them in light of their refusal and the societal reluctance to attend mosques, councils and headquarters of the militia.

The militia had obliged preachers and imams of mosques to set up television screens and open loudspeakers on a daily basis to broadcast sectarian lectures by its leader, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, as part of the so-called "Ramadan Program".

They pointed out that the militia leader, during his boring lectures, called on young people and children to wage jihad and join the ranks of the group as part of the faith system. Al-Houthi also called on citizens to confront what he described as "hypocrites."

Citizens expressed their denunciation and condemnation of the Houthi militia’s actions and forbidding them to perform Tarawih prayers and loudspeakers during the prayer under the pretext of “disturbing”, while their members open loudspeakers to broadcast “Zawamil” and the delirium of its leader Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi and his lectures and forcing them to listen to it, and “praise” for a period of no less than a quarter of an hour before the dawn call to prayer on a daily basis, which causes great inconvenience to the residents around the clock with their calls, screams and the speeches of their leader.

The Houthi militias exploit mosques and their pulpits to promote their deviant and destructive ideas of the true Islamic religion imported from Iran.
