Aden, NewsYemen, special:

The Presidential Command Council and the Government of Participation continue to deliberately neglect the telecommunications sector, the sovereign and voluntary institution, in favor of the Houthi militia.

The southerners are calling for the Presidential Command Council to take a serious action to liberate the communications and information technology sector from the grip of the Houthi militia, because of the danger it poses to the liberated areas.

Engineer Ali Sheikh, a specialist in the field of information and communications technology, explained the danger of using any communications subject to the Houthi militia, in the liberated areas, such as Yemen Mobile and YOU, explaining that all of these companies in Sanaa are under the authority of the judicial guard.

He stated that monitoring military leaders and others in the liberated areas is done by knowing their whereabouts during their calls to the mobile phone network, explaining that any communications engineer knows that there is a scale for the degree of communication or signal for each number, and through that, the diameter of the distance, the signal strength, and knowledge of the target are determined by the diameter of an area  It does not exceed 300 metres.

Sheikh said, in a post on Facebook, that YOU company has linked via YemenNet, and has accomplished a lot of work in the capital, Aden, stressing that the company's resources and income will go equally between YemenNet and You and will be imported to Sana'a.

He stressed that the legitimate government can play on the chord of revenues, and force companies that are subject to the Houthis to connect the Internet through the AdenNet portal and completely dispense with YemenNet, in the liberated areas.

He explained that this step will first save a lot for companies from the costs of introducing the service and the exorbitant prices that YOU pay to Yemen Net, as YOU sells gigabytes at a price of 400 riyals in Houthi areas, while Aden Net sells a gigabyte at only 150 riyals.

He indicated that the compulsory linking of these companies with Aden Net would provide legitimacy with millions of dollars annually, and give an opportunity for safe investment in areas of legitimacy.

The southern political and military analyst, Muhammad Jawas, believes that the telecommunications sector is one of the sovereign institutions, and liberating it from the grip of the Houthi militia is a top priority before the Presidential Command Council and the legitimate government.

Jawas said, in a tweet to him on Twitter, that communications are a sovereign matter, militarily and security, in addition to being one of the strong revenue sources.

Jawas added that this sector is one of the most important fronts of confrontation with the Houthi militia, and controlling it by the legitimate government is a top priority.

He explained that the deliberate neglect of the telecommunications sector constitutes a challenge to the sovereignty of the state and a betrayal that requires trial for anyone who had a hand in neglecting this institution.

In this context, political analyst Saeed Bakran called on the Presidency Council to open a comprehensive investigation for everyone involved in corruption in the telecommunications sector in the capital, Aden.

Bakran called on the Leadership Council to investigate the Prime Minister, Dr. Moeen Abdul-Malik, and the former Minister of Communications, Lotfi Bashir, and to investigate the corruption of AdenNet, and into the Way and Yo deals.

He said, in a post on his Facebook, that if the Presidential Council is serious about creating a different performance with corruption and tampering, the investigation decision should not be delayed, and a committee should be formed from the members of the Council itself with the help of legal expertise, or it calls for an international body specialized in such investigations and it has  its credibility and reliability.

Bakran published dangerous information indicating that Prime Minister Maeen Abdul-Malik was involved in making a deal with the Houthi militia, operating the YOU network funded by Oman in the capital, Aden.

Bakran concluded that this dangerous information, which was mentioned in the website's report, is under his responsibility, and an investigation must be opened about it urgently.
