Republican Guards Arrest a Weapon Smuggler

 On Tuesday, the joint forces on the West Coast overthrew an arms smuggler, and seized various quantities of weapons and ammunition while he was trying to smuggle them.

A military source told NewsYemen that the Republican Guard forces arrested a weapons smuggler at one of the points on the coastal road towards Mocha.

He added that various quantities of light weapons, rocket-propelled grenades and ammunition were seized from the smuggler's possession, indicating that they were transferred to the competent authorities to take action.

The source explained that among the seized weapons were a Kalashnikov, a missile and hand grenades, in addition to 55 multiple ammunition plates.

A number of the smuggler's followers interrupted travelers on the coastal road, to press for the smuggler's release.
