The launch of the Hodeidah Festival.. Tihami Carnival brings together the leaders of the national battle against the Houthis

The activities of the Hodeidah Carnival Festival, organized by the leadership of the local authority with the support of the Political Bureau of the National Resistance, began in the city of Khokha, on the occasion of the national holidays.
The festival was inaugurated by the Governor of Hodeidah, Dr. Al-Hassan Ali Taher, along with the second deputy head of the Political Bureau of the National Resistance, Brigadier Abdul-Jabbar Al-Zahzouh.
During the inauguration of the events, the governor of the governorate stressed that holding such a big carnival festival in the Abu Zahr tourist beach is only a message to the enemy that the people of Tihama are present and ready to defend their land and dignity.
The festival’s activities were launched in the presence of members of Parliament, Heba Allah Shreim, Nasr Zaid, Ishaq Qahm, the Secretary-General of the Political Bureau of the National Resistance, Sheikh Abdul Wahab Al-Amer, the President of Hodeidah University, Dr. Hassan Matari, a number of military and security leaders, members of the executive office in the governorate, and the directors general of the directorates.
The festival's paragraphs witnessed the presentation of the participating teams of cavalry, camel and folk dance groups and the Tihami heritage in front of the main booth, and they presented sports and youth pieces and a distinct Thahami dance that won the audience's approval.
The festival included a camel jumping competition, and the player Hussein Omar Jaber was able to get first place and achieve a new number by jumping on nine camels, while the player Abdulrahman Jaber jumped over seven camels to get second place.
In the horse race, the jockey Tawfiq Abu Al-Eid managed to win the first place, while the jockey Mahyoub Qubeisi came in second place.
In the camel race, the Khaled Saeed Kulaib was able to win the first place, while the Abdullah Ali Hassan came in second place.
In the long jump, the player Hussein Omar Mohamed won the title, while the player Hamza Salah came in second place. In the running competitions with camels, Hamza Shalaa won the first place, and his colleague Abdullah Ali came in second.
At the conclusion of the activities of the first day of the festival, the governor of the province and the deputy of the Political Bureau honored the winners of the competitions with the first-place cups, as well as honoring the folk dance teams with certificates of appreciation.
