On the second day of the injury of Brigadier General Homsan, the counter-terrorism commander in the governorate, Abdul Rahman Al-Shinini, was wounded by shrapnel of an explosive device in his hand, and a number of his soldiers were wounded next to him, but he refused to leave Abyan and returned a day after his injury to participate in the forces’ purification of the rest of the governorate.

The leaders of the southern forces are still at the forefront of the ranks, preparing to complete control of al-Mahfad and join forces with the Shabwa Defense Forces, which are deployed in the Al-Aram area adjacent to al-Mahfad, to announce the complete purification of Abyan governorate from the elements of extremism and evil.
