Aden, NewsYemen, special:

A news report broadcast by Al-Houthi channel, Al-Masirah, Iran's arm in Yemen, revealed the extent of the defeat that the group's militias received during the recent battles on the fronts of Hadd Yafa in Lahj Governorate on the border with Al-Bayda Governorate.

The channel broadcast a report on a protest organized by a number of pro-Houthi elements in the Al-Zahir district in Al-Bayda governorate, claiming that they are sheikhs and sons of the Al Humiqan tribe adjacent to the southern Yafae districts.

The vigil came under allegations of denouncing the indiscriminate bombardment of areas in Al-Humayqan and Al-Zaher by the southern forces stationed on the Hadd Yafae fronts.

Despite the threatening statements made by the Houthi elements in the vigil against the Yafae regions, they came in the context of a call to the Yafae tribes with prudence and an appeal to them to stop the fighting, which reflects the extent of the defeat suffered by the Houthi militia in the recent confrontations against the southern forces.

During the past two weeks, the southern forces stationed on the Yafae' border fronts responded to Houthi attacks that targeted their positions, after the Houthi group thwarted efforts to extend the UN truce.

Activists from the Hamiqan family denied, in their posts on social media, the validity of the allegations made in the news report, stressing that those who appeared in the stand were only some of the inquired elements and not from the sheikhs or prominent notables of the region.

They emphasized that the Sheikh of Al-Humaiqan sheikhs, Abdul Qawi Salem Al-Humayqani, has been in the Hadd Yafa district since the fall of the Al-Zaher district and the Al-Humaiqan front in the hands of the Houthi militia in the middle of last year.

Observers considered that the Iranian arm resorted to concealment in the name of the Al-Zahir and Al-Humayqan tribes, and the attempt to stir up sedition between them and the Yafae tribes, reflecting the humiliating defeat their militias have suffered recently.

It also reflects its fears of the danger of opening a battle against the Yafa tribes and their transformation from defense to attack and incursion into Al-Bayda Governorate in light of the relations and ties that unite them and most of the tribes of the governorate.
