Marib, NewsYemen:

The terrorist threats launched by the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, have become an imminent threat not only to the interests of Yemenis, which touched the most prominent pillars of the national economy represented by the export of crude oil, but also the interests of the world, which depends on the Bab al-Mandab Strait for the passage of two-thirds of global trade.

It appears that foreign shipping companies have begun to take these Houthi threats seriously, in the absence of government guarantees to protect them from the threat of terrorist targeting.

And the geological expert, Dr. Abdul Ghani Jagman, revealed, in his tweets, that one of the shipping companies had withdrawn from sending its ship to the Dabba port in Hadramout and switched its destination to the Egyptian Suez Canal, considering this in response to letters and warnings from the Sana’a authorities.

Chagman said that the oil tanker Maran Canopus had retreated from reaching the port of El-Daba to load 2.2 million barrels and changed its destination to Suez, pointing out that this ship was supposed to enter El-Daba port yesterday morning.

This incident reflects the extent of terrorist threats targeting the global trade movement that passes from the Arabian Sea and the Red Sea through Bab al-Mandab.

These threats call for Arab, regional and international moves in order to secure the interests of Yemenis and reach global interests from the Houthi terrorist threats that came in their statements coinciding with the end of the humanitarian truce sponsored by the United Nations on the second of October.
