Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman discussed yesterday (Wednesday), with his Yemeni counterpart, Lieutenant-General Mohsen Al-Daeri, joint cooperation between the two countries in the military and defense fields, and future steps to deal with potential changes.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the efforts of the United Nations to extend the armistice to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people, according to the official Saudi Press Agency "SPA".

Prince Khalid bin Salman affirmed the continuation of the Arab coalition led by the Kingdom to support the Yemeni government and people, push all efforts to end the Yemeni crisis, and meet the aspirations of the Yemeni people for peace and stability.

Meanwhile, the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) reported that the meeting discussed field developments in light of the Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen - of the humanitarian truce and its undermining of all peace efforts and future steps and procedures to deal with potential changes.
