The Salvation demonetisation witnessed in the city of Seiyun in the Hadhramaut governorate, at the invitation of the Southern Transitional Council, angered the terrorist Houthi militia, the arm of Iran, which was quick to issue warnings and threats through the governor appointed by it, Luqman Baras.

Yesterday, Seiyun Palace and its square witnessed millions of Hadrami crowds, on the occasion of the 59th anniversary of the October 14 Revolution, which demanded the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement, the exit of the First Military District, and the handing over of the tasks of securing the entire territory of Hadhramaut to the elite forces.

This prompted the so-called Hadhramaut governor, Luqman Baras, to make statements that contained threats and warnings against prejudice to the first military region known to be loyal to the Islah party, the local branch of the Brotherhood.

Al-Houthi Baras did not speak or address the statements of the reformist leader Salah Battis and his party's plans regarding the separation of Hadhramaut from its southern and Yemeni surroundings. Rather, he said that there are open efforts to transfer conflicts to the Hadhramaut valley and desert.

Governor Baras called on all the people of Hadhramaut not to submit to what he described as “conspiracies” and small projects that perished in the past and forever, in reference to the state of the south, which united with the north on May 22, 1990

Pushing the members of the First Military Region to the fronts against the Houthis was the most prominent demand of the participants in the Million of Salvation, but what the Houthis really fear is not the participation of the forces of the first region in the confrontations against them, but their loss of the most important arms and drug smuggling lines and experts that the first region is responsible for securing and protecting

Over the years, the forces of the first region accused the Brotherhood of being behind the smuggling of weapons and combat equipment for the Houthi militia.

A number of security checkpoints in Shabwa and Marib were able to seize weapons, drugs and equipment intended for preparing drones, which had passed through points and checkpoints belonging to the First Military District without inspection.

The Houthis' land smuggling line starts from the Yemeni-Omani border through Al-Mahra Governorate with the help of tribal leader Ali Al-Huraizi, and passes through the desert and Wadi Hadramawt, which are areas under the control of the First Military Region, and then into the Al-Jawf Desert, which the tribes of the former governor of Al-Jawf, Amin Al-Akimi, secure, before it reaches the areas  Desert in Marib and the intervention of Sanaa, which is under the control of the militias.
