Taiz, NewsYemen, special:

Elements of the Islah Party (the local arm of the Yemeni Brotherhood) closed the governorate building this morning, coinciding with the crisis that erupted between the governor and the first agent against the background of what was recently raised by the mission assigned to Dr. Abdul Qadir Al-Junaid.

Dozens of party members, under the banner of the wounded’s demands, closed the governorate building, in a move that observers considered a reaction to the governor of Taiz, Nabil Shamsan, suspending the agent, Awal Abdul Qawi Al-Mikhlafi, from work, as a result of his meeting with Al-Junaid last Sunday, in the governorate building, according to official documents obtained by “NewsYemen.”

A document addressed by the governor to the agent Al-Mikhlafi confirmed the authenticity of what was published by "Newsyemen" yesterday, by issuing a directive by the governor to stop the agent from working as a result of receiving Al-Junaid and allocating an office for him in the governorate building.

The governor accused the undersecretary of having handed over the office of the deceased agent / Abdel Hakim Aoun to Al-Junaid and instructing the Public Relations Department to invite the leadership of the executive bodies to come to the governorate building to meet Al-Junaid as "assigned by the President of the Presidential Leadership Council Rashad Al-Alimi."

The governor confirmed that he was not aware or officially informed by Al-Alimi or his office of the existence of a mandate for Al-Junaid, considering what the agent had done as serious violations and abuses that require accountability, informing the agent of his decision to suspend him from work.

The agent, for his part, responded to the governor’s letter, expressing his astonishment at the governor’s sensitivity to the issue and “the rush to issue a notice of suspension without any legal justification,” according to the text of the document, justifying Al-Junaid’s reception with the governor’s presence in Mocha.

Al-Makhlafi, one of the leaders of Al-Islah in Taiz, implicitly acknowledged the validity of the governor’s statement that there was no official assignment by the presidency to Al-Junaid.

Private sources confirmed to "NewsYmen" the governor's talk that there was no official assignment from the presidency to Al-Junaid, and that the man was the one who proposed to the head of the council, Rashad Al-Alimi, the idea of going to Taiz to see the situation and make a report on that, taking advantage of the friendship relationship that binds him with him, which was approved by Al-Alimi.

It pointed out that the suspicion and objection to the matter stemmed from Al-Junaid's suspicious movements, rushing since his arrival to Taiz to meet with Al-Mikhlafi and coordinate with civil and military leaders, all affiliated with Islah, completely ignoring the governor, who was not aware of the matter.
