Taiz, NewsYemen, special:

Perhaps the people of Taiz are more optimistic about the formation of the presidential leadership council, because they believe that the change that affected the head of power will reach their governorate, which has been under the control of the Muslim Brotherhood and their military wing for 8 years.

With the exception of only one year in which Dr. Amin Mahmoud became the governor of Taiz and was able to break the dominance of the Brotherhood and impose the voice of the state and its institutions, about 7 years in which Taiz remained an arena of corruption, chaos, looting and organized tampering practiced by the Brotherhood and the warlords who follow them.

Since the formation of the Presidential Leadership Council and until today, the promises of reforms have not reached Taiz, which made the residents of Al-Halima lose hope again in a positive change in the performance of state institutions and authorities in the governorate, as the Brotherhood strengthened their influence and monopolized the governorate’s military, political and security decision, turning Taiz into a wing managed from the reform headquarters in Jamal Street.

After months of waiting for presidential decisions to end the mess and chaos of the Brotherhood, liberating the military decision from their domination and reforming the security establishment, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council comes out with a new and strange formula represented in assigning Musharraf by Al-Alimi to assess the situation in Taiz and make recommendations to the Presidential Leadership Council, which in turn will issue decisions in the light of this assessment.

Al-Alimi reproduced the mechanism of governance of the Houthi militia by assigning him to Dr. Abdulqader Al-Junaid to supervise Taiz so that there would be a Houthi supervisor in Al-Hawban and a supervisor who would follow legitimacy in the liberated city.

Before he headed the leadership council, which was formed during the Riyadh consultations, he was the supervisor of the Taiz file for 8 years, and he has full and clear knowledge of the situation in Taiz more than any other official in the legitimacy, and he does not need someone to draw him the reality of Taiz and the prospect of change in it and fix the absurdity of the existing authority.

On the other hand, how can a person like Dr. Abdul-Qader Al-Junaid, who comes from Canada and is far from the complexities of Taiz and its internal situation, achieve a vision of the state of Taiz more than Rashad Al-Alimi, the supervisor of the Taiz file and the architect of everything that took place in it during 8 years, when he was and still is a loyal supporter of empowering the Brotherhood in the province.

Al-Junaid was also never a visionary or even a moderate rhetoric. Rather, he is a copy of the youngest Brotherhood activist in Taiz Governorate. He has positions and discussions that reveal his flagrant extremism in favor of the Muslim Brotherhood and its branch in Taiz Governorate.

Al-Junaid is hostile to Bazara, Tariq Saleh, and Aidarous Al-Zubaidi. He is assigned by the Presidency Council to supervise the file of one of the most important governorates of the country. He believes only in Al-Alimi, as the first is his friend and the second is from the leaders of the Brotherhood who adopts their discourse and logic and acts as if he is one of their loyal activists.

He is against the giants and the Salafis, against the forces of Tariq Saleh and the Nasserites and against the transitional, and he is the one who stood against the officers of the 35th Armored Brigade and supported the Brotherhood militias in the invasion of Al-Hujariyah, yet he came as a neutral figure to manage the Taiz file and as he said in his last posts on his page, that there is a role for him and a duty on him to confirm his assignment by the Presidential Leadership Council.

Al-Junaid launched his work with visits to the eastern, western and northern fronts of Taiz, and announced on his Facebook page that the soldiers on the fronts of the seam are not well equipped with weapons, and it is a strange logic to talk about the lack of readiness of the fighters in the seam, as this talk only serves the Houthi militia.

Al-Junaid appeared inside the governorate headquarters, specifically the meeting room, while the Brotherhood’s deputy governor, Abdul Qawi Al-Mikhlafi, ensured the preparation of an office for the supervisor while preparing for meetings with the leaders of the governorate’s offices and institutions as an actual inauguration of the tasks of the supervisor of Taiz.
