Shabwa, NewsYemen, private:

There is something hidden behind the terrorist operations and Houthi drones, which are attacking Shabwa on a daily basis in recent days, and not in other provinces, confirming that whoever finances these groups is one party.

Activists from Shabwa governorate say that the answer to that question lies in liberating the governorate from the two groups this year and their loss of wealth to the great that used to go to their interests away from Shabwa and the general public, which made them intensify their operations to target Shabwa, and with that coincides with a media attack by the two groups’ media against  Governorate.

In the past few days, Shabwa has been subjected to a number of terrorist attacks, the last of which was on Thursday morning targeting two military vehicles belonging to the Shabwa Defense Forces in two separate attacks.

The first attack took place in the Al-Masinaa area in the Upper Egypt district, by detonating an explosive device that targeted a military supply vehicle.

Unidentified persons also detonated another bomb while a military vehicle was passing near Al-Jaab station, and it did not cause any injuries or damage to the vehicle.

Terrorist operations have been repeated in the province through the detonation of explosive devices in the past weeks to a large extent, some of which are detonated in non-military places for the purpose of confusing the situation and portraying the province as unstable.  Simultaneously with this is a media campaign on pro-Brotherhood channels saying that Shabwa is not safe and demanding a change of its governor instead of Minister al-Awlaki.

Apparently, all these operations, media campaigns, and even marches launched by the Houthi militia, their first and last goal is to change the governor, who succeeded in liberating three districts of the province, handed over by the previous Brotherhood authority to the Houthi militia without a fight. The minister’s son also succeeded in cutting off the Brotherhood’s rebel arms against the Presidential Council.

The governorate is witnessing flying Houthi marches, especially the areas adjacent to Marib and Al-Bayda. The Houthi group’s marches also tried to target important places such as the airport and some facilities. The forces managed to bring down a number of marches, the last of which was on Friday evening, brought down by the Southern Giants Brigades.

The giants said, in a statement, that they managed to shoot down a Houthi drone before it reached its target in Shabwa governorate.

On Thursday evening, Brotherhood media and Houthi activists announced the targeting of Ataq Airport, rejoicing at this, but the governorate security department confirmed that the explosion was caused by the explosion of a power transformer as a result of an empty fuel locomotive colliding with one of the electricity poles, which caused the transformer to explode.

Southern activists mocked the Houthi media's haste in spreading its joy at the explosion in Shabwa, stressing that Shabwa, with the determination of its people, will triumph over all projects of terrorism and destruction.
