Al-Jawf, NewsYemen, private:

The phenomenon of new officials in legitimacy has increased in issuing decisions to change the official seal, which reflects the state of rebellion and rejection with which the decisions of change are now faced by former officials.

Where, on Saturday, the Governor of Al-Jawf, Major General Hussein Al-Aji Al-Awadi, issued a circular to the governorate’s agents and directors of directorates and executive offices to cancel the previous seal that was in force during the period of the former Brotherhood governor, Amin Al-Akimi.

In his circular, Al-Awadi enclosed a copy of the new seal, emphasizing its adoption as of the date of the circular, in a procedure described by followers as an emergency due to the lack of a process of receiving and handing over between the new and former governor.

It is worth noting that this measure is the third of its kind this year alone, as two government officials had previously issued a decision to cancel dealing with the previous seal and impose a new one. It is noteworthy that the two officials dismissed from the position were members of the Brotherhood.

In late May, the current Public Prosecutor, Judge Qaher Mustafa, issued a decision to change the official seal of the Public Prosecution, after the former Muslim Brotherhood representative / Ahmed Al-Mousay refused to conduct the process of receiving and handing over in protest against the decision to dismiss him.

And at the beginning of this year, the current governor of Shabwa, Awad bin Al-Wazir, issued a decision to change the official seal of the local authority, just days after he was appointed to this position as a successor to the Brotherhood / Muhammad bin Adyo.

Observers believe that the recurrence of these incidents reveals a state of distrust towards the officials who have been dismissed from their positions, and the fear of the officials appointed in their stead to use the official seal with the consequent damages and legal responsibility, especially in light of their rebellion and objection to the dismissal decision.
