Hodeidah, NewsYemen, private:

Over the past years, the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, has been arguing with the "siege of aggression" to justify its creation of living and supply crises in its areas of control, and to cover looting and draining huge financial resources at the expense of citizens and their basic requirements.

The lifting of the siege has become publicly revealed today, in light of the Houthi ports and outlets continuing to receive many imports that cover the needs of citizens in their areas of control for several months.

According to the report of the United Nations Inspection Mechanism in Yemen, it revealed an increase in the proportion of imports of oil derivatives and foodstuffs to the port of Hodeidah, which is under the control of the Houthis, during the month of October.

The Houthi militias continue to deceive the population in their areas of control in order to keep rising fuel and food prices under the pretext of the Arab coalition and the government’s detention of ships coming to the port of Hodeidah.

What the United Nations mechanism revealed about the arrival of various imports refutes these allegations, and exposes the reality of the militias that use this hanger in order to justify the operations of looting revenues and subjugating citizens in their areas of control through fabricated crises and raising prices.

The UN report indicated that food imports rose during the month of October, by 13%, and this percentage, according to the United Nations, constitutes an increase of 19%, compared to the monthly average since May 2016. Where the Houthi ports in Hodeidah received 350  A thousand tons of food.

While there was an increase of 500% in the fuel discharged during the month, with a quantity of more than 267,000 tons, compared to the monthly average for the previous year of 44,000 tons, and he stated that this increase constituted 94%, compared to the monthly average since mid-2016.

The report of the United Nations Inspection Mechanism, which operates FROM Djibouti, stated that, during the same month, 9 fuel ships were permitted to enter the coalition detention area to the ports of Hodeidah, in addition to 10 ships that had arrived at the unloading dock, where they unloaded and left.

During the same month, the United Nations stated that 16 ships carrying foodstuffs had obtained permits to enter the ports of Hodeidah, in addition to 17 ships that had arrived at the port berth;  Where 11 of them unloaded, and left before the beginning of this month.

The published data confirmed that the Houthi militias continue to weave inaccuracies and try to find new justifications to present them as a justification for its disruption and their intransigence in the continuation of the truce, the delinquency for peace and the end of the war.

Observers believe that the selectivity of the Houthi militias in dealing with international and international peace initiatives proves that its priority is to collect funds to finance the war machine and enrich its leaders at the expense of the Yemeni people.

The Houthi militias earn millions of dollars FROM the fees imposed on fuel shipments arriving at the port of Hodeidah, while evading the obligation to pay the salaries of employees in their areas of control, despite the UN agreement on this.
