Continuous Houthi destruction of state institutions in 2022

During the year 2022, the Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen - continued to destroy state institutions, create illegal bodies and institutions, and replace qualified cadres with elements loyal to them, with abhorrent racist motives.

 In this context, the Houthi militia added 40 members to the Shura Council in Sana'a during the year 2022 AD, among them (Abbas Al-Dailami, Hadi Al-Razami, Abdullah Al-Qasimi, Hussein Hamid Al-Ezzi, Muhammad Al-Washli, Muhammad Al-Qasim, Abdul-Khaliq Al-Mutawakkil, Hadi Al-Hamzi, and Ibrahim Al-Aidrous) and from the position of Undersecretary, Jabri Ibrahim Kamel was removed to the Shura Council.

The replacement of 6 ministers

 In the Council of Ministers, it added 6 virtual ministers to the strength of the government run by the group, they are (Ali Hussein Al-Dailami, for the Ministry of Human Rights, Muhammad Ahmed Hammoud Al-Bukhaiti, for the Ministry of Electricity, and Muhammad Sharaf Al-Mutahhar, for the Ministry of Industry and Trade) in addition to Abdul Rahman Salem Theban, Radhya Muhammad Abdullah, and Ahmed Al-Ali, as Minister of State.

Instead of operating the government electricity company and restoring electricity to citizens, the group created what it called the Electric Industries and Renewable Energy Corporation, and appointed the leader in its ranks, Abdul Ghani Al-Madani, as head of this institution, and appointed Abdel-Fattah Al-Madani, as head of the Civil Defense Authority, with the virtual rank of major general.

And 9 judges of the Supreme Court

 The judicial community witnessed during the year 2022 the kidnapping and killing of Judge Muhammad Hamran, following a series of attacks on heads of courts and prosecutors, and a short strike by the Judges Club.

In this sector, the Houthi militia added, during the year 2022, the number of 9 virtual judges to the membership of the Supreme Court, including Majid Mujahid Al-Darbani, Abdulmalik Ahmed Al-Wadaei, Abdulsalam Muhammad Al-Jarafi, and Muhammad Al-Ghashim as deputy president of the court.

Removal of Al-Rasas from the post of Secretariat of Representatives

 In the House of Representatives, it removed Dr. Rashad Al-Rasas from the post of Secretary-General of the House, and appointed Abdullah Yahya Abdullah Ahmed Al-Qasimi as Secretary-General of the House of Representatives in his replacement.

During the year 2022, the Houthi militia issued a partial decision to work according to the Hijri calendar, and another to adopt what it called the Functional Code of Conduct, in addition to a similar decision to what was called the inauguration of the general plan for the state and the path of reform and development of laws, and what was called the executive mechanism of the national vision for building the modern, modified Yemeni state.
