Al-Alimi receives the UAE ambassador and praises its honorable position in Yemen

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, praised the honorable position of the Emirati leadership, government and people, alongside the Yemeni people and their political leadership, including the sacrifices witnessed by the UAE army within the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia, in the ongoing battle to end the coup of the Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen.
This came when he received the credentials of the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed Hamad Al-Zaabi, at Ma'ashiq Palace in the capital, Aden.
Al-Alimi, along with Council member Abdul Rahman Al-Muharami, held a meeting with Ambassador Al-Zaabi, who discussed developments in the situation on the Yemeni scene, and regional and international efforts to restore the path of the political process, in light of the intransigence of the terrorist Houthi militia under the dictation of the Iranian regime.
The President of the Presidential Leadership Council welcomed the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, stressing the provision of all necessary facilities and support to carry out his duties in serving the distinguished relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.
He praised the efforts of UAE financial institutions and charitable organizations to rehabilitate destroyed services and alleviate human suffering in the liberated governorates, which will soon witness the inauguration of work on the Hassan Dam project in the Abyan Delta, and the electrical system generated by solar energy in the capital, Aden, with Emirati funding.
