The governor of Al-Jawf, Major General Hussein Al-Aji Al-Awadi, confirmed that the administrative status of the Al-Wadiah border crossing remains under the Hadhramaut governorate, denying the allegations that spoke of its annexation to Al-Jawf governorate.

The governor, Al-Awadi, inaugurated his work from inside the Republican Palace building at the Al-Wadiah port late last month, 4 months after the Brotherhood leadership rebelled against the decision to appoint him, and prevented his entry to the temporary headquarters of the local authority in Al-Jawf in the city of Marib.

Following this step, fake accounts run by the Brotherhood circulated forged documents claiming directives from Saudi Arabia - the leader of the coalition - to annex the port to Al-Jawf Governorate, which was denied by a statement issued by Al-Awadi's office on Wednesday.

The statement said, " Al-Wadiah was and still is a part of Hadhramaut governorate and is and will remain a part of the borders of the Sayar tribes," stressing the strong ties with Hadhramaut with all its components and tribes.

The statement included a scathing attack, but implicitly, against the Muslim Brotherhood, as he referred to it by talking about the parties and pens that failed yesterday and are still failing the battle. It was not satisfied with its rebellion against the decisions of legitimacy, stressing that this is what forced the governor to "arrange a launch for the battle to liberate Al-Jawf from the  Al-Wadiah."

The statement ridiculed the Brotherhood's talk today about the affiliation of the port to Hadhramaut, as it said that "everyone knows that the Republican Palace in Al-Wadiah was over the past years the headquarters of the state's leaders, led by Ali Mohsen Al-Ahmar, the former vice president."

The statement focused on the goal of the Brotherhood campaign represented in inciting the people of the south, as it praised the role of the people of the south in embracing legitimacy and contributing effectively to the liberation battle on all fronts in the north.  He said that this came despite the lack of recognition of the justice of their cause by forces claiming their unity, while they were the ones who slaughtered unity from vein to vein since the unjust 1994 war until this moment, in reference to the Brotherhood.
