Sana'a, NewsYemen, exclusive:

Allegations by one of the Houthi leaders, the Iranian arm in Yemen, that the lunch meal was "exotic" to Yemeni society, have sparked widespread ridicule by Yemenis on social media over the past few days.

The Houthi leader, Abdulaziz Al-Dailami, who was appointed by the Houthi group as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Sana'a University, claimed that lunch was not known before to the Yemenis, and that what was known was only two meals in the morning and evening, citing Quranic verses.

The Yemenis circulated Al-Dimali's statement widely and intensively on social media, strongly mocking these allegations he made, noting that they reflect the mentality through which the Houthi group thinks, and its attempt to promote these ridiculous allegations to confront the severe food crisis in the areas under its control, according to international reports.

In September of last year, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization "FAO" warned that 8 Yemeni governorates under the control of the Houthis are experiencing an acute crisis of horrific food insecurity, stressing that these governorates are threatened with famine.

Al-Dailami's speech came in the context of a Houthi symposium that took place in Sana'a earlier this month, entitled "The Danger of Vaccines to Humanity," attended by leaders of the group, in which one of the Houthi elements, Salim al-Sayani, gave a lecture, in which he claimed that vaccines are a global conspiracy and a project to reduce the population of the earth.

Al-Sayani organizes regular lectures in Sana'a and cities under the control of the Houthi group to promote his allegations of "conspiracy" theories, in which he attacks vaccines, medicines and all medical products without relying on any scientific evidence.

Among the reactions triggered by al-Dailami's allegations, Yemenis circulated video clips on social media from previous lectures by Salem al-Sayani, in which he claims that all medicines are "oil derivatives such as petroleum and kerosene."  While he claims in another lecture that the Yemenis in the past did not eat dinner.

The uproar caused by the allegations of "Al-Sayani" and "Al-Dimli" has re-shown light on the dangers that the north suffers from in light of the Houthi militia's continued grip on it, and its continuous attempts to consolidate its project to rule the Yemenis by relying on allegations and lies of "divine right" and selection.

The group believes that its success in this depends on its ability to create an environment that nurtures its claims and lies, and it is an environment that is pervaded by ignorance, superstition, and hostility to everything related to science, life, and the era, which is the role played by the group's tools such as "Al-Sayani" and "Al-Daimli".
