Sana'a, NewsYemen:

The terrorist Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, has alluded to the failure of the negotiations currently taking place in the Omani capital, Muscat, under regional and international auspices to end the war and pave the way for political peace negotiations that lead to a complete solution to the Yemeni crisis.

The militias, during a meeting of what is known as their political council, on Sunday, headed by Mahdi Al-Mashat, talked about what they called "procrastination and delay" in understanding what was stated in the speech of its leader Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, which he delivered during the anniversary of the death of the leader, Saleh Al-Samad.

The militias claimed their adherence to the priority of the humanitarian file in any dialogues, and it is the same file that rejects any of the items agreed upon in the various rounds of consultations, the latest of which was the terms of the humanitarian truce announced by the United Nations on April 2, 2022 and ended on October 2 of the same year after the militias refused to renew.

Sabanet said in its Houthi version: What is known as the Political Council stood before what it called the existing obstacles and scenarios that the leadership is studying in preserving Yemen's sovereignty and extracting the rights of the Yemeni people through various paths and options.

Referring to the option of war, which its leaders allude to during its posts on social media.

It seems that the militias have escalated their demands for the success of the Muscat consultations, and have reached the point of demanding that they be empowered to rule the north and south and control the oil and gas revenues that they demand to pay the salaries of their members.

Despite its refusal to pay the salaries of state employees from tax revenues, customs, the communications sector, and the port of Hodeidah, the militia council accused the Legitimacy Support Coalition of cutting the salaries of all state employees eight years ago, and accused the United States of obstructing understandings in this regard.

The militia council warned the United Nations against its involvement or its teams in what it called "obstructing the arrival of ships to the port of Hodeidah."
