Sana'a, NewsYemen, exclusive:

The Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen - began marketing to "legalize" daily meals and prepare society for normalization with hunger, thus completing the triangle of its priestly project (poverty, disease, and ignorance), as a historical rule that characterized the imam tyranny of Yemenis for a long time, until  The revolution of September 26, 1962 .

It is not arbitrary, nor is it a slip of the tongue, what the Houthi militia is trying to market to the Yemeni society in terms of myths and blatant interference in the food and meals of Yemenis, the health of their bodies, and the upbringing and education of their children.

During the past few days, slackers have been racing in the ranks of the group to publicly question the feasibility of the lunch meal, in what is considered a disrespect for the Yemenis, and an attempt to guardian over them in the timing and quality of their food and drink, and at the same time distract them from claiming their constitutionally guaranteed rights.

Decorating poverty and normalizing famine

The social researcher, Ali al-Nahmi, believes that the talk of Houthi militia activists about lunch comes within an organized context of an attempt to normalize Yemeni society on famine as one of the vocabulary of the methodology of poverty and impoverishment of the population, which is the methodology upon which the rule of the Imamate was based.

He pointed out that the militia believes that keeping the Yemenis engrossed or mired in the quagmire of poverty will keep them captives to fill their stomachs and satisfy the hunger of their children, and give up their rights to live freely and with dignity, enjoying the guaranteed constitutional rights, including participation in power in accordance with the principles and mechanism of the democratic pluralistic system in the Republic of Yemen.

A Houthi activist claimed in a limited event that "the lunch meal is extraneous," while another believes that vaccines and medicines are made from oil derivatives, which are false allegations that are refuted by science in various fields.

The lunch talk comes at a time when the United Nations confirms that hunger levels in Yemen are still alarmingly high, with more than 17 million Yemenis in need of food aid during the year 2023.

Try to bring back diseases and epidemics

In a related context, the Houthi militia is waging similar campaigns in the field of health and immunization against diseases and epidemics, with false allegations that lack the simplest reliable scientific evidence .

While activists in the ranks of the group consider vaccines against diseases (external conspiracies) and claim that they are harmful and manufactured to eliminate humanity, doctors and health workers confirm the success of vaccines in eliminating most childhood diseases in Yemen since the revolution of September 26, 1962 until today.

Scientifically and practically, Dr. Ali Al-Madwahi confirms that vaccines "save children since they were given in Yemen in 1959, when the population at that time was 5.2 million, and today the population is 34 million," noting that the life expectancy at birth in 1960 reached only 38 years, while it reached  In 2020 to 65 years old.

On his Facebook page, the suburban doctor pointed out the role of vaccines in ending smallpox in Yemen in 1969, "and there has not been a single case since that date in all parts of the world," asking: "Whoever claims that it destroys crops and offspring must prove otherwise, and search for evidence."  Another argument, for which our children do not pay with their lives.

The regression of immunization programs has led to the return of several diseases that Yemen had gotten rid of in previous years, such as polio and measles. Official data in Sana'a revealed the emergence of 226 cases of poliovirus.  During the period from September 2021 until the fourth week of the current year 2023 .

And UNICEF announced, in mid-December, that 1,400 children were infected with measles, of whom 15 died in 2022 , while the Ministry of Health in Sana’a claimed that 18,597 cases of infection had been recorded, of which 131 died, during the same period.

Developing ignorance by destroys education

In the field of education, since its seizure of power in September 2014 , the Houthi militia has been working to empty education of its content, and seeks to ignore youth and youth and fight education, starting with cutting the salaries of teachers and parents of state employees, and passing through raising tuition fees in public and private schools, and disrupting the day  The school calendar and tampering with the school calendar in sectarian activities and incitement to violence and hatred, and not ending with changing the curricula and flattening the curricula and dyeing it sectarian  with the group's myths.

Researcher Ali al-Nahmi believes that the practices of the Houthi militia in the sectors (education and health), and the false talk of its activists about meals, are a linked chain that reveals the group's plans to restore aspects of daily life in Yemen to before the revolution of September 26, 1962, as the only option that guarantees  The perpetuity of the group’s usurpation of power, in exchange for the survival of communities in areas under their control in case they need them and are hostages to hunger, diseases and epidemics.

Al-Nahmi criticized the positions of the other parties, which are characterized by cynicism and ridicule about the theses of the Houthi militia in this context, and said: "Satire should not suffice," believing that the Houthi militia also aims to test the awareness and feel the pulse of local communities in the areas of its control, and said: "The parties from outside the Houthi areas must  Criticizing and refuting its myths with a scientific methodology and an objective vision that refutes its delusions.
