Electricity director in al-Mahra resigns due to fiscal deficit

The director general of the General Electricity Corporation in al-Mahra province Mohammed Kelshat, southeastern Yemen, submitted a resignation letter to al-Mahra governor Rajeh Bakrit.

Mohammed Kelshat demanded the governor to accept the resignation due to the province's fiscal deficit in the province, adding that the province fed up with short solutions of the electricity crisis in the province.

The Central Bank of Yemen  governor Hafedh Meyad revealed earlier that revenues of al-Mahra does not arrive to Aden, and that the branch of the bank in al-Mahra operates outside the control of its main headquarters in Aden, accusing party forces, does not mention their names, of refusing a network interconnection.
