قبل يوم على انتهاء مشاورات السويد كان سفيرا الولايات المتحدة والمملكة المتحدة، قبل أن ينضم إليهما الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة، يقودان تحركات مكثفة باتجاه الوفد الحكومي المفاوض، وكان هؤلاء مجردين من اي خبرة تحصنهم في موقع المدافع الصلب فضلا عن صانع الموقف والقرار.

اقتحم مسلحو الحوثي أحد المستشفيات الكبيرة بوسط العاصمة صنعاء . وقام مسلحوا الجماعة بإقتحام مستشفى جامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا ونهب محتوياته ، فيما وجهت ادارة المشفى استغاثة عاجلة بإنقاذ حياة 300 مريض يتواجدون في الوحدات الطبية بالإضافة الى المئات داخل العناية المركزة . ويعتبر هذا المشفى هو الثاني الذي تم قصفه من قبل متمردي الحوثي ، بعد اشعال النيران في مشفى آزال . ويقتحم المتمردون الحوثيون المؤسسات المدنية ويقومون بقصفها ، كما حدث في جامعات العلوم والتكنولوجيا وصنعاء والإيمان .
