Houthi lethal gift rips four children apart in al-Hodeida

Four children were victims an explosive "game" which is distributed by a Houthi group, the Iran's arm in Yemen, in Tehama and the West Coast through roads, farms, residential neighborhoods and around water resources.

In al-Fazah district in the coastal district of al-Hodeida province, the sounds of explosions did not stop because the Houthis left deadly and lethal traps left behind by them. 

A large number of landmines were planted by the Houthi militias, causing the killing and injuring people in al-Tuhaita.

Alaa and his three friends went to run a water project in al-Fazah, while they were walking, they found a game on their way, or as it seems by its outside shape. One of the friends took it and threw it, causing an explosion among the friends' legs. 

The game is a Houthi explosive lethal device was left by the Houthi militias as a lethal gift for the children who lives in the area, causing the injuries among the children. 

The Houthi explosive game caused severe injuries to the children’s limbs, legs and feet, causing the partial amputation, permanent deformity, fractures and other injuries, even in their faces due to shrapnel.

Their youngest has almost completely lost one of his palms, while Alaa suffers injuries and fractures in one of his feet.

Houthi militias have formed explosive devices and camouflaged them in toy, cane, large stones, pipes and cement blocks.

The Houthi militias also planted large fields of landmines, including improvised explosive devices (IEDs). 

Houthis' bombs similar to toys and gifts lurk around the young children in al-Tuhaita, al-Fazah, Yakhtil, al-Khukha and Mocha. 

It is a memento that its danger and evil did not finish or disappear easily or soon.
