Islah Party, Muslim Brotherhood, carries out politically sit-in before al-Thawra hospital in Taiz

The leadership of the Islah Party, the branch of the Muslim Brotherhood in Yemen, uses the file of the wounded as a magic weapon to displace the State's employees who are not allied or affiliated with the Party in Taiz province.

The latest activity and exploitative movements of the Islah party when dozens of the wounded carried out a protest against the Chairman of al-Thawra General Modern Hospital in Taiz, setting up set up protest tents before the hospital.

The Party’s protesters demanded to dismiss Dr. Ahmed Anam, the chairman of the hospital, under the pretext of fighting corruption in the State's institutions, according to their claims.

A medical source told Newsyemen the protestors' claims came to remove the current doctor Ahmed Anam and appoint Fares al-Absi, affiliated to Islah Party, stressing the dangerous move to disable the hospital in favor of private hospitals affiliated with the Party.

The source praised the efforts of al-Thawra Hospital for taking care of the wounded in Taiz during the past two years, despite the lack of resources, and the Coalition's contracts went to take care of the injured at private hospitals belonging to the Party (al-Rawda, al-Safwa and al-Buraihi, al-Ta'awon hospitals, 4000 USD for each injured.

The Brotherhood movement had organized demonstrations and carried out sit-ins against Dr. Elan Abdulhak, the chairwoman of Wounded Committee, loyal to the GPC. She resigned after two months of getting assassination attempt to kill her in the western part of Taiz city.

The Brotherhood also used a weapon of the wounded in Taiz against the former governor, Dr. Amin Ahmed Mahmoud, since a first day of his appointment, and their campaigns ended by appointing a new governor, Nabil Shamsan as a new governor of Taiz.

It is worth to mention that the file of the injured in Taiz is a thorny file, traded by the Muslim Brotherhood through their charitable societies, and they receive large sums of money from the leadership of Legitimacy and the governments of the Gulf, including the Sultanate of Oman and Qatar.
