It was clear at the outset that the State of Qatar established its presence in the Yemeni scene. It supports the Muslim Brotherhood Movement and the Houthi armed militias, and groups affiliated with al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, it is a genetic link that Doha devoted at the recent donors' conference, it is clearly appeared to have no interest whatsoever to help the Yemenis.

Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates topped the list in supporting of Yemen, held recently in Geneva on Tuesday, Feb.26, with a $ 1 billion grant. Kuwait came second with $ 250 million and the United Kingdom with $ 200 million.

In return of the $ 1 billion of the KSA's and the UAE's grant, Qatar's contribution to the donor conference was limited to only $ 27 million, a low figure compared to Doha's political and media play on the humanitarian crisis in Yemen and its uses against the Arab-led Coalition.

The low Qatari contribution, at the United Nations Emergency Response Conference, held in Geneva on Tuesday, Feb. 26, was shocking in comparison to the generous financial support for the Muslim Brotherhood Movement and the Houthi group. The small island, full of Wealth of Gas, serves as a buffalo to feed armed groups in Yemen.

Supportive friend for Brotherhood Movement

Yemen is at the forefront of the countries where large sums of money flow from Qatar. However, Doha's financial support is limited to extremist entities and armed groups, which operate according to ideological and political calculations, unlike the rest of the Gulf states and friendly countries of Yemen.

The support of Doha for its arms in Yemen, whether the Brotherhood or the Houthis and even the extremist factions associated with al-Qaeda, is ranked in equal terms with the Brotherhood in Egypt in terms of the size of the financial funding allocated to the movements.
Qatar has vowed to overthrow the government, assuming that the government will be replaced by the more organized Islamic group than the rest of the weak opposition entities. The thought of Qatari leadership, perhaps, had the Khomeini revolution that ousted the Shah of Iran and replaced him with the Mullahs.

Doha has translated this approach into a considerable support for the Islah Party, the local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood Movement, which includes an extremist generation with many fittings together with al-Qaeda.

According to the Yemeni intelligence reports, Qatar provided the Muslim Brotherhood and its military wing huge sums of money exceeding more than $ 1 billion, both directly and indirectly, during the years 2011-2012-2013 aimed at bringing the Brotherhood to power by violence and fueling conflicts and crises.

Later, intelligence reports monitored the Doha's activities in Yemen, where a special committee is overseen by Qatari officials, including the interior minister, intelligence chief and others in government banks as well as political leaders at the level of the Brotherhood's international organization.

The Qatari support is the leverage on which the Brotherhood relied upon to undermine the State of Yemen. It is invested in the activities of the pharmaceutical trade, health facilities, private education, real estate, import and export companies, communications and media, small individual projects, oil companies and the transport sector.

In Yemen, local exchange companies were run by the Qatari support in supporting of the Doha's activities linked to the Muslim Brotherhood, as well as banks linked to the Bank of Qatar, in financing and financial facilities.

The funds of the State of Qatar were smuggled across the sea, were supervised by a Qatari officer named al-Marri, supervises the smuggling of funds into Yemen, as well as support operations through a network of Brotherhood associations.
In addition to the media, Qatar has funded the establishment of several "human rights organizations financially and logistically support, trying to get in touch with international human rights organizations to inject human rights reports from Yemen after being directed according to the Qatari vision in coordination with the work team affiliated with the Brotherhood.

Qatar pays funds for extremists' pockets

Earlier, a US report revealed that US intelligence monitored Qatar's support for extremist groups in Yemen through the Islah Party.

Qatar has found itself in close contact with the leadership of the Houthis, at the same time supporting the Muslim Brotherhood, as well as Al Qaeda. The Brotherhood and the Houthis have returned the Doha's presents at the beginning of the current diplomatic crisis on Qatar crisis by declaring supportive positions for the State of Qatar.
