An official source at Yemen Mobile Company said to Newsyemen that Essam al-Hamli, a Chairmanship of the Board of Directors of Yemen Mobile Company appointed by the armed militias, bought an armored vehicle in excess of Y.R 35 million.

A number of reports indicate that the company's revenues are estimated at Y.R 15 billion per a month.

An organized operation was carried out by the Houthi militias to buy citizens' shares participated in the establishment of Yemen Mobile Company, and transfer the shares to the leadership of the armed militias.

The company's leadership, appointed by the militias, conducts extensive contacts with shareholders to sell their shares in preparation for the privatization of the company.

The Yemen Mobile Company's subscribers complain about the low and bad services of the company, the weakness of the Internet and the theft of the balance or units in recent years, as well as raising calls' tariff and the Internet despite its poor services, and it does not work most of the time.

According to the sources, the company refuses to issue any detailed invoices for customers to show the calls' value and data used by the subscriber to the Internet balance.
