The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) said that 228 children have been killed or injured in Yemen over the past year by mines and explosive remnants of war that have been set on fire by the Houthi militias, the Iranian arm in Yemen, for more than four years.

According to the organization's office in Yemen, 38 children were killed and 190 wounded by mines, improvised explosive devices and explosive remnants.
