Education, like anything else in Tehama, students are struggling to defeat the ignorance represented by the Houthi militias.

Because of the continuous shelling carried out by the Houthi militias, young students are no longer safe from their lives in their schools in Hais district, south of al-Hodeida.

Many schools have been attacked in Hais, in al-Jabalia and in al-Tuhaita by the Houthi militias, depriving hundreds of students for their right to complete their studies.

The people of Hais city and its teacher did not give up, the keenness and insistence on their children's education and regularity of study, houses are opened to host students and give them an opportunity to study and catch up or finish the academic year.

The house of teacher Juma'ah Ahmed Esmail and others in Hais city become are the only available and practical shelters for students who attend to study. 60 to 70 students are gathered in a class.

They are standing and sitting in rooms, in basements, on dirt, without seats, and as often as we come. "We are here and we learn despite everything, and we will not stop".
