Coalition to allow fishermen in Mocha hunting in May

The Arab Coalition has decided to allow fishermen to return to the shores of Mocha by the beginning of May, the Chairman of the Fishermen's Association in Mocha district in Taiz province Hashem al-Rifai said on Monday.

He talked about a series of meetings with the leadership of the Coalition, which led to determine a certain path for fishermen at sea, so as not to exceed it, pointing out that the signs will be put to arrange hunting, including the region protection.

He said that " a new problem prevents fishermen form working smoothly in Yakhtil coast in the district, some people and local figures  acknowledged that they had owned large areas inside the sea in a precedent that never happened before."

Some people exploited the absence of Local Authority, and claimed ownership of about 3000 fishing sites on the sea in a distance of 120, and they prevent fishermen from practicing fishing.
