Sana'a – NewsYemen.net

Samah is an educated girl, she applied for a job at one of the International Organizations, when she get out an office at of the Organization working in the Capital Sana'a, that is controlled by the Houthi militias, she hopes to work and to get a job that she applied for.

Her scientific education and her education file  are well qualified for getting a job, especially after she received an admiration by an interview committee which is responsible for choosing an incumbent or an occupier of a vacant job.

A little time was enough to tell Samah that the qualifications were no longer a criterion for getting positions even if at international organizations in Sana'a. Two days later she received a call by the organization, informing her that the organization did not accept her file and she did not get the job and the Organization, Wishing her all the best in her future.

Samah tried to absorb the shock, and wondered how " the organization hinted that her file is accepted to run the vacant job at the interview".

However, she suddenly remembered, when a Yemeni worker at the organization whispered as saying to her after the interview " if  you had a recommendation letter  from the Preventive Security, you would get the job".

But Samah did not know" what is the Preventive Security System ",  referring to the Houthi Security System, why do they need a recommendation letter ? this is a civil job and it has nothing to do with the State's bodies.

Samah said to NewsYemen that she kept asking among workers at the International Organization working under controlled by the Houthi militias in Sana'a, and she reached a conclusion that " if you have support or document or a recommendation letter from the Houthi Preventative Security System, you will get a job, it will be easy to get a job" or from an influential Houthi leader ...".

Many local staff have been laid off by organizations after many years of work due to the Houthi recommendations. An employee at the International Organization in Sana'a said the process of employment now become link with the acceptance of the Houthi Preventative Security System, Houthis also forced their names so as to be employed.

A number of human rights sources said that the Houthi militias are controlling the International organization working in Sana'a, adding that that the Houthis are intervening in the internal administrative work of international civil humanitarian organizations, that are presumably neutral.
