Al-Jawf's people carry out protest denouncing corruption of local Authority

Al-Maslub district in al-Jawf province controlled by the Islah Party experiences weekly protests to demanding basic services.   

Al-Jawf's people complain of lacking necessary services, while the province's revenues to to pockets of corrupt people in the province, according to the statements of protesters, on Friday, who carried out a protest in front of the house of the province's deputy Saleh al-Sentil.

The protesters accused the local authority and the governor loyal to the Brotherhood Amin al-Okami of looting the province's resources against the backdrop of refusing to link electricity for the district like other liberated districts.

The people demanded that local authorities to quickly provide basic services to the district, including electricity, roads and health services, as well as development projects that contribute to alleviating the suffering of the population.

The protesters stressed the continuation of escalating to demand their rights by peaceful means and that guaranteed by the Constitution and the law, pointing out the sacrifices they made in defending the province and provide convoys of martyrs in the way of liberating the State.
