Sources close to the Houthi militias in Yemen said that what the militias' media are publishing about the special sums they collected for Hezbollah in Lebanon has hidden goals other than stated goals of supporting the party, which is under financial strain due to US sanctions against Iran.

The Sources pointed out to NewsYemen that despite the fundraising process under the banner of supporting of the pro-Iranian Lebanese Hezbollah is correct and is at the expense of the hungry in the areas controlled by the militias, the hidden objective of the announcement represents a large money laundering operation carried out by the group in cooperation with Hezbollah.

The sources pointed out that the Houthi militias' leaders and through intermediaries and commercial companies are carrying out a huge money laundering under the name of collecting and sending donations for the Lebanese Hezbollah, which cooperates with the militias on this subject significantly, noting that the cooperation process between the two parties were done even before the militias' announcement to start to collect donations.

According to sources, the Houthi militias are exploiting the issue of sending funds to the Lebanese Hezbollah to get out hundreds of millions of dollars for their leadership and send them to invest abroad, especially in Lebanon, Oman and Turkey, noting that this process is held in a secret for fear that the money is exposed to be confiscated  because of the sanctions imposed by the US authorities on Hezbollah.
