The Islah party, the local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood in Yemen, is waging misleading media campaigns targeting the vice president of the southern transitional council, Hani Ben Buraik
Although Ibn Buraik led the southern resistance against the Iran-backed Houthi militia, in the city of Aden, until the liberation of the south, he was not spared the fabricated campaigns of the Muslim Brotherhood
The reasons for the Brotherhood's campaign against him are that he was one of the first prominent figures to reveal the lies of the Muslim Brotherhood in the war with the Houthis, in addition to his religious argument that exposed them as organizations which posed as religious groups in order to mask their terrorist activities
He also fought a war against terrorist organizations, committed himself to the medium of religion and loyalty to the Arabs, and supported the sheikhs and moderates in all regions of the south
