Police Individuals assault photographer Saleh al-Obeidi in Aden

The newspaper "Aden Time" reported to the Interior Ministry that its photographer Saleh al-Obeidi was wounded by individuals  of Labib al-Abd, the head of the Emergency Police. The Photographer Saleh al-Obeidi also was beaten with rifle butts and he was chasing  by live bullets on Wednesday in interim Capital Aden.   

Al-Obeidi, a photographer for the Aden Times Newspaper, said he was surprised when he was visiting khat market, al-Kara'a market, he was attacked by individuals of Labib al-Abd, the head of the Emergency Police, adding that he was beaten with rifle butts in different parts of his body, including his eye that he lost it on the West Coast of Yemen in a thermal missile.

Al-Obeidi added that the individuals of Labib al-Abd shot live bullets deliberately in an intention to killing him, he managed to escape and hid himself behind cars parked on the side of the road, it is God willing .

Al-Obeidi's attack came over his posts on social media, he said. It is worth to mention it that al-Obeidi was rushed to a hospital near the incident to heal bruises and bleeding that hit his face.   

The newspaper "Aden Time" considered this accident an official report to the Interior Ministry and its Moral Guidance Department, and it holds the attackers accountable for his safety and life as he is one of the South hero who grants his soul for its land, al-Obeidi also works as a photographer for AFP.
