CBY governor publishes his first papers against lobby corruption inside the Legitimacy

The governor of the Central bank of Yemen Hafedh Fakhir Meyad expressed his readiness to appear before the Judiciary to be investigated into any corruption case

The intervention of President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi to release the adviser to the governor is a natural intervention to fight the corruption

A source close to Meyad surprised that some of paid pens and suspicious sites launch a campaign against the governor and his staff, saying a well-known team funds the campaign

Hadi's intervention to release the governor's adviser of the central bank in Aden who had been kidnapped in Aden by the National Security Agency was considered "a powerful blow to this group and the forces that have caused corruption in the land

The transfer of violations' file that took place in the Central Bank to the Public Prosecution has angered this group," he said, stressing that the move "in favor of the Legitimate government and the national system and Yemen in general as it contributes to the activation of the state's judicial institutions and its central role in the fight against corruption

Meyad pointed out that "this group or team (not named) ignores the fact that Yemen under Chapter VII, which empowers the international community to intervene and investigate with the government and open various files and at any time it wishes

He said that the fight against corruption comes at the forefront of the concerns of the international community so that our country would activate the judicial institutions to halt the way in the front of the international intervention in fighting against corruption

The source said in a statement published on his Facebook account that Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen Meyad agreed with President Hadi to take office for only six months, and his acceptance of the position was a step to avoid economic collapse, especially after the economists expected then the dollar would surpass thousand riyals, and one thousand and five hundred riyals per dollar, adding that "there is only a month left on the period specified in the agreement, and the bank governor determined  to commit to that schedule

Meyad stressed that fighting corruption is a fundamental axis in the economic battle led by the governor and his staff to improve the living conditions of 30 million citizens after their suffering exceeded all borders

The source stressed that such "campaigns or change of portfolios or not will not affect the exchange rate after the establishment of fixed rules for banking, in addition to the presence of young competent cadre  specialized in banking and with the support of honorable banks and national bankers who have the full ability to control the banking market and work hard day and night for the interest of 30 million Yemenis
