There is personal attention to the General People's Congress (GPC) by US, Saudi and European officials, we would like to say that we believe that these external parties, who wish to see a unified leadership of the party seek to remind us the Party's  role in political heritage and its experience their countries dealt with the it and its rationality in managing the public affairs.

It is a respected experience in the eyes of those countries which almost reveals that the GPC is the best options for the next stage, we alleged that the Saudi attention was a Brotherhood talk over the Old-New partnership that is concerned with disability and negligence  that is directed by Mohammed al-Yadumi, the Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Islah Party, the Muslim Brotherhood in Yemen) to President Hadi and the Legitimacy, coinciding with a Jeddah Meeting.

We say: President Hadi and his loyalists are aware of the prestige of their party in the regional and international policies, and therefore they tried successive attempts to appoint him as the GPC Chairman ..a word of ' their party' is intentional, because these attempts show their appreciation of the GPC role and its role among the Yemeni public, including them, who held meeting in Jeddah or others meetings,  in the party for 30 years, and its popular site .. But neither Hadi nor his loyalists tried to ask themselves this question: neither did all these attempts succeed in electing Hadi to be a Chairman of the GPC nor did they answer it.

How many attempts President Hadi and his loyalists did meetings in the last four years and even Jeddah meeting before days to get the chairmanship of the GPC? they were a lot.. the most prominent attempts were four:

In the first third of the year 2015, President Hadi - as being the first deputy of the GPC so as to get the leadership through the preparatory committee he formed it in Aden to organize a meeting of the Southern GPC in the South its aim to elect Hadi as the Chairman of the GPC at least. The committee has been entrusted to manage it by Ahmed al-Maisari, his strong man Ahmed al-Maisari who becomes the deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior in Aden, along with Dr. AbdulAziz bin Habtoor, who later became prime minister in the Houthi government in the Capital Sana'a.

What was the result? You think that the attempt went on!

The meeting also recommended Dr. Abdulkarim al-Eryani and Ahmed Obeid bin Daghr to stay in the first deputy and in the second deputy of the GPC, the meeting referred the GPC chairman Ali Abdullah Saleh and his assistants to the judicial accountability, what was the result? nothing, the meeting went out sporadic

For the same purpose, the President Hadi paid GPC leaders which displaced with him as well as loyal to him to hold a famous meeting in Riyadh in late October in the same year, the meeting statement confirmed that they chose the President Hadi as the GPC chairman

One said that Dr. Rashad al-Alimi has assigned and arranged a major GPC meeting in Cairo to choose a new leadership for the GPC; neither Saleh nor Hadi will be elected, neither he arranged a meeting nor held conference

In March 2018, Eng. Ahmed al-Maisari, backed by the President Hadi and Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, gathered around 1,000 GPC members to Aden city to crown President Hadi as the GPC Chairman.

Their strongest argument was that Hadi was the first Legiti
