Al-Zekri says directives of governor did not implement .. Al-Asidi demands salaries of Taiz Information Department

A head of Training and Rehabilitation Committee at the Yemeni Journalists' Syndicate Nabil al-Asidi called on the leadership of the Local Authority in Taiz province to pay salaries of Information Department Staff, which have been suspended for eight months
This came after an appeal written by the staff of the Pubic Information Department in Taiz province addressing the Syndicate to take a position over the arbitrary measures being taken against them by the Information Department Director Yassin al-Zekri
"We put an issue in the hands of local authorities in the province, and we trust Yassin al-Zekri, the Information department director to solve the problem," said a member of the Yemeni Journalists' Syndicate Nabil al-Asidi on Facebook
Yassin al-Zekri replied al-Asidi's letter and said that his department has not received any riyal of operating expenses since December 2018 until now except rents of its temporary headquarters for February, March and April 2019 before moving the department to the main headquarters in the province
Al-Zekri said that the Governor Nabil Shamsan directed in March 2019 to deliver the operating expenses for the months "December 2018 - January 2019 - February 2019" but they were still pending and have not yet been acted out, while March 2019 is still under follow-up
