The United Arab Emirates Red Crescent has provided shelter and food aid to families who survived the bombing of Houthi militias on a residential neighborhood in Hays district, south of Hodeidah.

The humanitarian team in the Crescent provided six families surviving the shelling of Houthi militias in the neighborhood of "Al-Saba '" on the outskirts of the center of Hays Directorate with sheltered tents and food baskets.

Relatives of the victims expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation to the UAE Red Crescent for providing them with the necessary care after they were stranded and found themselves homeless after the Houthi shelling that killed and injured their loved ones, mostly women and children.

Saturday's aid comes just days after similar emergency relief was provided by the UAE Red Crescent Authority to 23 families who survived the bombing of Houthi militias on a village in Al-Tahita district in Hodeidah, killing 9 people and injuring 11, mostly women and children.
