The Minister of Culture in the legitimacy government, Marwan Dammaj, threatened to sit in front of the prison where the human rights activist Hafedh Mutair is detained, if Marib authorities do not release him.
"If Hafedh Mutair was not released after all attempts and directives, he promises to hold a sit-in in front of his prison and leave only with him," Damaj posted on his Facebook.
The governor of Marib Sultan al-Aradah, blamed the military prosecution, for the kidnapping and imprisonment of activist Hafezdh Mutair, at a time he admitted that the detention was compulsory order on the background of a post on his page on the social networking site "Facebook".
The governor of Marib implicitly admitted in a memorandum to Judge Ahmed Said al-Muflihi, head of the National Commission for Investigation of Allegations of Human Rights Violations, that the military prosecutor refuses to release the activist Mutair, despite the explicit directive of the prosecution.
