Houthi’s escalation towards the coastal areas of Hodeidah

Military and field sources in al-Tahita district south of Hodeidah said that heavy shelling by Houthi militias, on Monday evening and Tuesday evening, targeted the coastal area of   al-Faza west of the directorate.

The sources said that the militias shelled the positions of the forces north of the city of Tahita with 120-mm heavy artillery shells and 82-caliber rounds, while the machine guns were fired at the positions of the Dushka.


The militia elements targeting the coastal area of   Faza west of Tahita with medium-caliber machine guns of 14.5 caliber and Dushka and Pica rate weapon.

Meanwhile, the Iranian arm militia bombed the same sites with Hauser artillery shells on Monday evening.

On Monday, according to field military sources, the Houthi militia carried out extensive shelling and targeting on joint forces positions in the Jabaliya area, using heavy and medium weapons, 120-caliber mortar shells, 82-caliber mortar shells, and LB and RBG missiles.

Targeting continued into the evening with heavy 23-mm caliber weapons, 12.7-caliber machine guns, 14.5 caliber weapons and sniper rifles.
On Monday, the militias launched the heaviest shelling on the Durahimi district in the southern outskirts of Hodeidah with dozens of heavy artillery shells.

 Joint forces positions in areas east of the city of Hodeida were shelled and targeted on Monday with heavy and medium machine guns.
