Two missing due to floods on Socotra Island

The socotra rains led to the loss of two socotra sons who were on their way home on a motorcycle, due to heavy rains and heavy rains that cut off most of the main areas, where the rains continued for three consecutive days without stopping.
The floods disrupted traffic and movement of citizens in various areas of Socotra, causing rock slides and causing material damage to most houses, and the cars of citizens were washed away while crossing some roads.
For the third time, the Habeeb road, which links the western regions to the capital Hadebo, is affected by a rockslide that cut off the road and disrupted traffic.
Socotra citizens appealed to stakeholders, international organizations and humanitarian and charitable organizations to help families affected by heavy rains and floods.
