Ten were killed and wounded in clashes between two families in Ibb Governorate, one of them supported by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen.

Local sources said that the clashes erupted in the Al-Mukhaddar Directorate, following the killing of two members of the Mouawda family by a gunman loyal to the Houthi militia from the Mohiuddin family, due to differences between the two parties over the looting of humanitarian aid.

According to the sources, among the dead and wounded are women, some of whom were shot dead by militia members of the Security Directorate of the Houthi-controlled Directorate.

The sources accused the Houthi leader and director of the security forces, Saleh Al-Shami, of being behind the explosion of the situation in the area after summoning the two parties to a place close to the security department, before the outbreak of gunfire between them and expanded to the village of Bedhaa.
