Al-Bayda, Newsyemen:

The army and the popular resistance forces, with the backing of the Arab coalition aircraft, again failed the attempt of the Houthi militia to reach the main road linking Qaniyah to the Radman District in Al Bayda Governorate.

A field source said that, at dawn today, a Houthi militia launched an attack on the positions of the army forces in Qaniyah, the second of its kind in 48 hours.

It added that the army and tribesmen were able to repel the attack and inflict heavy losses on the Houthis, multiplied by air strikes by coalition fighters, targeting human settlements and military vehicles on the Qaniyah and Wahhabiyah fronts.

The source pointed out that 6 raids hit the Houthi military targets, fixed and mobile, resulting in the damage of 3 military armored vehicles, a BMB vehicle and a weapon of 23, in addition to killing and wounding a number of militia members.

The source pointed out that the Houthi militias took the vehicles of citizens on the road passing through the area as human shields during the air strikes, indicating that the Houthis began, with the beginning of the raids, to open the road to cross the cars so that the Isabelle point or the sites near it were not targeted.

As a result, the homes of citizens were severely damaged by the shelling of the Houthi militia on a village in the Qaniyah area.

A local source said that the Houthi militia launched a mortar bombardment on the inhabited village of the branch.

It added that Fadl Al-Najjar's house was directly targeted, which resulted in severe material losses, in addition to the burning of a number of cars.
