Saudi Arabia supplies Hadhramaut with the second shipment of medical aid to combat "Corona"

On Monday, the National Drug Supply Program of the Ministry of Public Health and Population received a second shipment of medical aid from Saudi Arabia through the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action to combat the spread of the Coronavirus.


The shipment of aid that passed through the Sultanate of Oman contains medical devices and equipment for intensive care and care centers in Republic hospitals, as well as devices accompanying vital operations and other medical supplies, and disinfectants and sterilizers that will be used to confront the Corona epidemic.


 The assistance comes within the continued support of the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to confront the spread of the Corona epidemic in Yemen and the advancement of medical conditions in hospitals and work to develop them to provide a better service to the patient.


Issam Al Kathiri, the deputy governor of Hadhramaut Governorate for the directorates of the Wadi and Sahara directorates, valued the permanent interventions of the King Salman Center and the Kingdom of Al-Hazm for its permanent support to the Yemeni people in the pandemic that pervaded the country to confront it.


 He pointed out that the specialized devices for patient care and a series of drugs came at the time with the escalation of cases of infection with the Corona virus, stressing that medical teams in isolation centers take care of patients and provide them with full health service with thanks and appreciation to all doctors and nurses in various facilities and health centers.
