A total of 152 Yemeni passengers stranded in Amman, Jordan, arrived thursday afternoon at Sidon International Airport in hadramaut province in southeastern Yemen, on the first flight to transport the stranded to the country.
The passengers' flight to Yemeni territory came as emergency and urgent flights after they remained in Jordanian territory for nearly two months since ports in Yemen were closed due to the Corona pandemic.
It is expected to be followed by transfers of stranded passengers in Egypt and India.
In addition, travellers will go to their homes in yemen's various governorates and be subjected to a 14-day home quarantine and under close scrutiny from health authorities.
Medial check-ups were carried out for travellers and PCR analysis was conducted to confirm that they were free of the Coved19 virus at specialized CORONA virus centers in Jordan, according to a Reporter for New Zealand.

In the same context, The General Manager of Sidon International Airport Ali Bakhtiar, in an interview with "Newsmen", explained that the certificates of passengers proving that they are free of corona symptoms were examined, pointing out that passengers will be surprised by buses collective lytos to their provinces taking their phone numbers for constant follow-up by health teams.
Ta'id al-Ya'il air zone manager, Kifah Ahmed Omar, told Newsmen that he is working with the top authorities to coordinate flights to transport and schedule those stranded from Mumbai and Cairo airports after taking the necessary permits from coalition countries.
She added that the current flight to Sidon International Airport had taken off from Aden airport to Amman to Sidon airport.
