Thwarting an infiltration attempt north of Al-Tuhita , after stopping a Houthi attack on Al-Jabaliah

A military source in the joint forces said that the forces repulsed an attempt to infiltrate the Houthi militia on Sunday evening, its locations north of the district of Al-Tuhita , south of Hodeidah, and forced them to retreat and flee.

The source confirmed that the joint forces inflicted casualties and equipment on the militias during the battles they fought.

This came after the joint forces managed to break the Houthi attack on Al-Jabalia during the past hours, during which the militias incurred dead and wounded.

On Sunday, the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, targeted residential neighborhoods in the Hays district, south of Hodeidah, as forces responded and suppressed the fire sources.

Local sources reported that the Houthi militias targeted various types of residential neighborhood weapons in the city center from the northeastern district and the Beit Maghari area northwest of Hays.

The sources added that the joint forces monitored the Houthi fire sources and directed concentrated strikes, and were able to put them out immediately.

Houthi militias have also opened medium and heavy weapons fire on residential villages and citizen farms in Al-Durahimi district, south of Hodeidah.

Local sources in Al-Durahimi said that militias targeted villages with Hawser artillery, and opened fire 14.5 and 12.7-mm machine guns towards the citizens hysterically.
