Sana'a ... 70 deaths and the collapse of 460 homes

The Houthi militia said that it had recorded (70) deaths and (460) cases of house collapses, due to what it said were the torrential rains that Sanaa and its neighboring governorates witnessed during the past few days.

In a press statement, the Civil Defense Authority in Sana'a, which is under the control of the Houthi militia, stated that 49 deaths occurred due to drowning, while houses were destroyed on the heads of (10) people, and collapsed rocks killed 11 people, while 13 injuries occurred distributed between slight, medium and severe.

The data of the Civil Defense Authority in Sanaa revealed 426 houses were destroyed, 162 rock collapses occurred, 126 machines sank, a dam collapsed, 36 heads of livestock were dying, and 56 square kilometers of agricultural land were bulldozed, while six areas are still vulnerable to collapse.
